State and Federal Regulatory Agencies: Departments of Environmental Quality, NWS River Forecast Center, Enviornmental Protection Agency

Water Resource Evaluation:Urban planning, industrial and municipal water use

Water Resource Design & Protection: Wetlands/riparian restoration, National Park water use planning, Peace Corps water development

Flood Forecasting, Control & Management: In Arizona, floodplain management studies of rainfall/runoff both locally (Pima) and in other counties (Maricopa, Pinal, Santa Cruz, Yavapai; study of El Niño effects

Computer Simulation of Water & Pollutant Transport: Simulate fate and transport of TCE, formaldehyde, or other contaminants through different soils; transport of heavy metal contaminants using coupled models of speciation, reaction, advection, etc.

Advanced Study: Advanced research in national laboratories, teaching at the college or university level, mid-to upper-level management
