Please join me in congratulating our distinguished colleague, Professor Peter Troch, who has just been named a 2012 Galileo Circle Fellow by the College of Science Dean's Board of Advisors. 

 

The Galileo Circle award recognizes outstanding accomplishments in academic scholarship and is one of the highest honors COS bestows on its faculty. 

 

To quote Dean Ruiz' letter to Dr. Troch, "It is our faculty -- with their innovative teaching programs, their internationally recognized research and their effective outreach -- that make the College of Science at the University of Arizona such a distinguished institution."  No one exemplifies that statement better than Peter Troch!
