Congratulations to HWR Alumnus, Stephen Osborn (PhD '10), whose very first publication in a scientific journal was ranked #15 of the Top 25 Hottest Applied Geochemistry papers (Jan - March 2010), according to Science Direct! 

 

Stephen completed his doctoral dissertation, Chemical and isotopic tracers of the contribution of microbial gas in Devonian organic-Rich shales and reservoir sandstones, northern Appalachian Basin, under the direction of Dr. Jennifer McIntosh, HWR Assistant Professor.  While at the University of Arizona, Stephen was selected as the 2009 Outstanding Graduate Teaching Assistant in the College of Science. 

 

Stephen is now a postdoctoral fellow at Duke University in North Carolina.  Kudos to Hydrogeo-Man!
