December 2011 University of Arizona Commencement

More than 3,800 students will receive degrees during the University of Arizona's 145th Commencement ceremony* scheduled for 9:30 AM on Saturday, December 17, at McKale Memorial Center. In addition to granting degrees, faculty, alumni, and student awards will be presented. Swim Olympian and UA alumna, Lacey Nymeyer John, will serve as the commencement keynote speaker.
Attention All Graduating Students: RSVP and Ticket Order Required
December graduates who wish to participate in the ceremony are invited to RSVP for themselves and their guests. The RSVP system will provide the Commencement Operations Team an estimate of the number of students attending, as well as the number of guests each student plans to bring.
Once soon-to-be graduates have RSVPed, tickets can be picked up at the following convenient and accessible campus locations:

UA Visitor Center, 811 N. Euclid Ave.
Every student who wishes to participate in the ceremony will receive a ticket. Tickets are for students only. Guests will not need tickets. Seating will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis.
