Welcome to the homepage of Dr. Jennifer McIntosh’s Aqueous Geochemistry and Hydrogeology research group at the University of Arizona (Department of Hydrology and Water Resources).  Our research primarily focuses on the elemental and isotopic chemistry of surface waters, groundwaters, saline fluids, and natural gas to better constrain the sources of solutes, residence times and flow paths of fluids and gas in the subsurface, and water-rock-microbial interactions.  This research involves extensive field sampling, laboratory analyses, and geochemical and hydrologic modeling.
