HWRS 492A Directed Research in Hydrology and Water Resources

(1-6 units) Individual or small group research under the guidance of faculty.

 

Course Type:  Undergraduate directed research for EHY majors and minors, other students in science and engineering
 
Format:  Directed research, a special kind of Individual or independent study, is supervised by a faculty member who may supervise work in a laboratory and/or field site setting.  Requires 45 hours of work for each unit or semester credit hour awarded.
 
Important Notes:  A department contract is required.  Students must register for units with the department's academic advisor.  See UA Individual Study Policies and Guidelines website for general information.
 
Meeting Pattern:  Usually offered Fall and Spring Semesters, both Summer Sessions
 
Schedule:  Contact department's academic advisor for information about contract and registration
