For the Hydrology major, the application deadlines are:

• January 15 for Fall Semester (Fall Semester begins about the fourth week of August)
• October 1 for Spring Semester (Spring Semester begins about the second week of January)

For the Hydrometeorology major, the application deadline is:

• February 1 for Fall Semester (Fall Semester begins about the fourth week of August)
• No admission for Spring Semester

Applications made after a deadline may or may not be considered depending on:

• The date the application is completed and available for review and recommendation by members of the admissions committee (e.g. the faculty committee may have suspended its review for the semester)
• The time required for admissions processing (e.g., a student requiring a visa to study in the U.S. may need much more time to complete the admissions process, both here and in the home country)
• In some cases, the department may recommend admission to the graduate program for a future semester
