El Dia del Agua is a symposium showcasing the best undergraduate and graduate student research in hydrology and water resources and is held annually during the spring semester.  El Dia is one of the hallmark events held during the School of Earth and Environmental Science's EarthWeek.  Students make oral and poster presentations of their research and compete for awards and prizes.  The event also hosts an invited luncheon speaker and an afternoon keynote speaker.  Following the presentation of awards and prizes, including the student-selected AquaPerson (Aqua Man or Aqua Woman) faculty instructor awards, an informal reception is held for all students and El Dia del Agua sponsors.
