The Aqua Person Awards were announced at El Dia del Agua on March 30, 2011, and this year, one of the highly prized action figures was wearing a tiara! The conclusion of El Dia del Agua saw Dr. Jennifer McIntosh and Dr. Peter Troch walk away with the much coveted green and orange statues.

Some of the most eminent hydrology and water resources specialists in the country converged at the University of Arizona's Student Union Ballroom on Wednesday, March 30, to reconnect with faculty advisors and former classmates and to meet a whole new group of young men and women showcasing their research at the 21st Annual El Dia del Agua.
