University of Arizona Graduate College Fellow Award made to new incoming graduate student, typically as a meritorious recruitment fellowship.  Funding designated by Graduate College Dean and allocated to College Deans for disbursement to department units.

Fellows are selected based on a number of criteria, including, but not limited to, superior academic achievement and outstanding academic, research, or extracurricular achievement.  The term of award is typically one year, the first academic year in residence.
