Peter A. Troch, Professor of Hydrology and Water Resources, has been named the recipient of the European Geosiences Union's 2011 John Dalton Medal in recognition of his distinguished research in hydrology as an Earth systems science.

 

Troch joins the ranks of hydrology luminaries and former Dalton Medalists such as Eric F. Wood, Ghislain de Marsily, Peter Eagleson, and James C.I. Dooge.  This prestigious medal will be conferred at the European Geosciences Union General Assembly in Vienna, Austria, in April 2011.
