Prof. Francesco Antonio Manoli announced on November 9, 2011, that Regents Professor Shlomo P. Neuman had been elected a Corresponding Member of the Academy of Sciences of the University of Bologna, Italy.  This honor was made to recognize Dr. Neuman's "high scientific merits" and internationally recognized achievements in the field of water science.
