Regents Professor Victor R. Baker received the Distinguished Career Award from the Quaternary Geology and Geomorphology Division of the Geological Society of America.  The Distinguished Career Award is presented annually to a Quaternary geologist and/or geomorphologist who has demonstrated excellence in contributions to science.  This award is given annually when deemed appropriate by the Division Management Board upon recommendation of the members of the Award Committee.
